Ego Adoh Biography

Member of the Board

Ego was Co-opted to the Board of Growing Seeds Trust Foundation established 27 July 2021, which was reconstituted from Addax RFC for underprivileged children and youths which commenced in 2007.

Ego is an international Taekwondo champion and athlete. Ego is passionate in the aspirations and mission of the Growing Seeds Trust Foundation.

Taekwondo Championships

Ego represented Abuja at the Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Open as a 13-year-old, in the Fin weight category and was awarded a medal.

Ego competed in the Taekwondo Heavyweight category- winning a bronze medal in the Welsh Open, Silver in the English Open and Bronze in the Southeast England Open.

Ego was 4th in the World Taekwondo Championships.  

Ego was 1st in the Kickboxing, Heavy weight category at the Watford Open and 2nd in the Only the Strong competition and has participated in various other competitions.

Professional & Education

Ego is currently an IT Commercial & Financial Manager at The Automobile Association.

Ego obtained a BSc Accounting Honours at Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria.

Ego obtained an MBA at Cranfield University, UK.

Ego is a Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Ego Adoh Responsibilities

Ego is Responsible for the Growing Seed Trust Foundation accounting system.

Ego gives advice on financial management solutions to reduce costs and improve efficiency to achieve the charity’s mission.

Ego is responsible for the overall financial control of capital & operational budgets. This includes:

  • Setting up book-keeping, managing accounts, invoice monitoring and bank reconciliations.

  • Helping to identify risks & opportunities.

  • Advising on optimisation through process improvement techniques

Ego Adoh Accountabilities

Ego is a valued member of the board, responsible for the accounting, financial management, planning and reporting of the Growing Seeds Foundation Trust.
Ego participates in weekly and monthly meetings of the board.
Ego produces annual accounts and the trustees report of accounts to the Charity Commission.
